Ms. Ying Shi graduated from Beijing Dance Academy and moved to New York in 2012. She is one of the most esteemed Chinese Dance teacher in the Great New York area. As an experienced professional dancer, Ms. Shi has performed on many big stages in the US. She is also a great teacher. She taught in K-12 schools in the NY/NJ area. She has taught hundreds of students and has more than 25 years of teaching experience in running Chinese traditional dance and folk dance programs for both kids and adults.

Graduated from Sejong University, Seoul, South Korea with a Bachelor's degree in Dance Field. Awarded Gold prize at LG company festival, the grand prize at the National Life Sporting Dance Union. Has been teaching Hip-hop, Choreography, Dance hall. Advanced to the final freestyle battle event. Participated in broadcasting, showcase, concerts with Puer Kim, Yea Rim Kim, PSY, Bada. Saemi’s class consists of a thorough warm-up to strengthen one’s core and limbs, and her unique choreography that combines the elements of hip hop and the popular Caribbean dance called Dancehall.

Ballet Teacher, Modern and Contemporary Dance
I am a Choreographer, dancer focusing on modern, contemporary, and ballet performance and teaching. I received Ph.D. from the Department of Living Dance and Performing Arts of Hanyang University in South Korea. I won the first Award at Korea Contemporary Dance Competition and Presidential Prize at the 7th Nagano International Performance Competition. I also received the first award at the International Contest for Mature Contemporary Dance Soloist in Mexico City and a Dance Performance Award from Korean Critics. I am actively having performances in NYC and have been teaching college and young students in the US. I Had teaching experience for figure skaters at Korean for professional stretching.

Dance Teacher, Chinese Folk Dance
Laruence Jin began his dance training in his native hometown Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. Graduated from Beijing Dance Academy performing arts department, majoring in Chinese Classical dance and Chinese Folk dance. Joined Youth Dance Company as a principal dancer after the graduation. Moved to NYC and studied at Marsha Graham Modern Dance School. Joined Bella Lewitzky Dance Company as principal dancer and toured with company domestically and internationally. Served as a judge in many Chinese classical and Chinese folk dance competitions held by Chinese and American Dance Association. Received Best Performance Award from First National Professional Tali Cup Dance Competition.
Ms. Candace
Dance Teacher
Candace Jarvis was originally from Brampton, Ontario, started her professional training at Bold Dance Company under the direction of Emilio and Stephanie Macri. She continued her training at The Ailey School as a Certificate Student. She has performed works by many choreographers including Amy Hall, Tracy Inman, Carlos Dos Santos and Norbert De La Cruz III. In 2013 Ms. Jarvis performed in Alvin Ailey’s Revelations Cast of 50 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center and took part in Robert Battle’s New Directions Choreographers Lab at The Ailey School. Ms. Jarvis was a former member of Awaken Dance Theater under the direction of Rebekka Nodhturft. In 2015 she earned her Certificate of Honors from The Ailey School Certificate Program.
Ms. Mirielle
Dance Teacher
Mireille Lorenzo is a graduate scholarship student from The Ailey School. She has been dancing ballet since she was 6 at Dance Theater Manille, Philippines in affiliation with The Australian Conservatoire of Ballet, Melbourne. She is currently an apprentice at the Nai Ni Chen Dance Company, DanKerr & Dancers, and is a ballet teaching assistant for the Junior Division at The Ailey School. She is an ABT Certified Teacher for ABT's National Training Curriculum in Levels Pre-Primary to Level 3 and certified Horton teacher by Ana Marie Forsythe.
Ms. Greta
Dance Teacher, Ballet and Contemporary
She is the Artistic Director of Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company. Greta Campo began her dance training in her native Milan at the Carcano Theater, where she was first introduced to Martha Graham's work. At age 19, she began the Professional Training Program at the Martha Graham School in NYC and, after a couple of months, she joined Graham I, performing in ensemble and solo roles. She performed with the Martha Graham Dance Companv in their 2012 New York Season and has also been traveling nationally and internationally with them. She completed the Teacher Training Program at the School. Greta has performed choreographies by Pascal Rioult, Larry Keigwin and has worked with renowned choreographers, such as Eryc Taylor and Nejla Yatkin. She was the winner of the 2016 Rising Star Award from Fini Dance Festival.

Ms. Song excels in Chinese Folk dance, Classical Dance. She actively performs dance in many theaters and has been invited to perform at the Lincoln Center in NYC for a number of times. Ms. Song has years of experience in dance education, and she has inspired and trained many young dancers.

Trained at the Antwerp Royal Ballet School and the Kishibe and Kawaskai Ballet School in Japan
Won medals at multiple international ballet competitions, including the Yourth America Grand Prix and most recently 2018 USAIBC.
She has danced solo and principal roles with Teatrul de Ballet Sibiu, Constanta National Opera Ballet, and Timisoara National Opera Ballet in Romania.
Principal roles include Don Quixote, Paquita, Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Giselle, Chopiniana and La Vivandiere.

Ms. Mariette Marino
Dance Teacher
Miss Mariette is an award-winning dance Instructor and choreographer from Jersey City, NJ. Mariette started competing at the age of eight and became a full-time instructor at fourteen. She’s performed in many musicals throughout her career, including “ANYTHING GOES”, in which she appeared as an ANGEL / featured tap dancer and assistant choreographer. Mariette has choreographed two feature films for local film companies. As a reference dancer for Bubble Guppies and Shimmer and Shine for the Nickelodeon Network, Mariette brings the animated characters to life. An actor as well, Mariette can most recently be seen in the feature film The Truth about Lies. From judging local talent competitions, choreographing events, instructing after school programs to pre-college programs, Miss Mariette is thrilled to share her passion for dance at FA Academy.
